Client: Private Residence.

Location/Site: Private residence, Rushcutters Bay NSW.

Project: Paint removal of outdoor front entry stairs, front landing and side wall.

Scope of Works: Let’s Clean was engaged to return the entry stairs, front landing and side wall to their original sandstone façade. Multiple layers of different types of paint had been applied over many years, and it was important to retain the character of the underlying stone.

Method: We used several different paint strippers for different layers, including Heritage No. 1 and GreyGel. This was followed by a wash using the BlueVac Captive Head Washing System in order to prevent residues from contaminating the garden.

Outcome: Successful paint removal and retention of the original stone’s character without causing any undue tool marks from heavy scraping or excessive water pressure.
