Client: O’Sullivan Conservation.

Location/Site: Tarpeian Way, Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney NSW.

Project: Emergency removal of graffiti from newly installed sandstone overlooking Sydney Harbour and the Opera House.

Scope of Works: Eliminate as much as possible the graffiti attack without damaging the brand new stone installed just weeks prior. The amount of paint sprayed and the smooth stone made it particularly difficult to completely eliminate the appearance of the graffiti.

Method: Franmar 682PS Graffiti Remover was applied several days after the graffiti vandalism, followed by a soft wash. This was repeated again two weeks later.

Outcome: The graffiti was mostly removed and soon became unnoticeable to passersby.
